This song is called The Wonder. It is about the sudden loss of my cousin Lloyd a couple of months ago. It is a song about grief. “I walked past your house today, and you weren’t there” is a line about how we picture people no longer with us, as we metaphorically walk past their homes in our minds. I experienced that one day recently and wrote this song stream-of-consciousness shortly thereafter.

It’s as raw and authentic as it gets here folks. I simply don’t release music that doesn’t deeply move me every time I hear it. I’m honest always in my art. I really hope that this song helps you.

“I’m caught in the wonder of your smile, and I’ll make it known in every corner.” If there’s someone gone now who’s smile you’ll never forget, this song is for you. Lloyd had a great smile.
